Lifestyle products made from sustainable felt
i-did has already made a significant social and sustainable impact in collaboration with KLM, IKEA, MYOMY, and Efteling, among others. From specially designed products made from i-did's own felt to branded products in one of its own felt colors. See some of these wonderful projects and products here.
Showcase: the Efteling
Efteling employees received a special gift for the park's 73rd anniversary: a felt bunting made from their own discarded workwear. In our i-did Factory, we gave the fabrics a second life: a bit of magic in textile form.
Efteling highlighted the collaboration with a cool video starring a felted Holle Bolle Gijs. The campaign was picked up by various media outlets.
Our projects
Zeeman
This collaboration between i-did and Zeeman will be available in their XL stores in spring 2025. The collection included a key ring, laptop sleeve, pencil case, and cable organizer made from felt from their own recycled workwear.
Efteling
Efteling's more than 3,500 employees received a custom tote bag made from recycled Efteling textiles during the Christmas market. This marked the start of a new, long-term partnership between Efteling and i-did.
Municipality of The Hague
As a thank you for their efforts, over 1,800 ORAC adopters in The Hague received a package in their mailboxes in December. It contained, among other things, this ORAC and felt keychain in Cloud Grey .
Federation of Physicians KNMG
We created keychains for the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG) featuring their logo. Naturally, they chose our Care White felt, made from recycled nurses' uniforms. Commissioned by Regalis.
Ministry of Defense
At i-did, we regularly produce onboarding packages and office accessories in Defence Green for the Ministry of Defence's Materiel and IT Command, made from recycled defence uniforms.
International Theatre Amsterdam
i-did was commissioned to create various lifestyle products for the International Theatre Amsterdam, which we then customized with their own branding. They opted for a mix of different i-felt colors.
Stoov
A unique collaboration between i-did and Stoov® featuring limited-edition heating pads and accessories. Made from recycled textiles in four different i-felt colors. The collection was previously available in the Stoov webshop.
Cortina
After the bicycle bag, we've now also created the Venice battery charger holder for Cortina in the Efteling Forest Brown project color. This charger holder prevents a tangle of cables in your shed or garage.
Albert Heijn
Successful shelf stackers at Albert Heijn receive a sustainable Made Blue water bottle in a sleeve made of recycled Albert Heijn workwear.
R-Go Tools
For R-Go Tools, we designed and produced a custom-made protective cover for their ergonomic Twister mouse and keyboard.
WWF
This Care White laptop organizer is made from recycled nurses' uniforms and printed with the World Wildlife Fund logo. The organizer is available for purchase in their webshop.
Marie-Marie
For the new crocheted laptop covers from the trendy Amsterdam brand Marie-Marie, a sturdy i-felt lining was chosen.
Odido
Over 600 wine bags were made for Odido's clients in i-did's social workshops. The wine bags are made of i-felt in Chalkboard Black , a standard color in the i-did range.
UPC Duffel
Sustainable Christmas gifts for UPC Duffel! We used 1,000 kg of old workwear to create you-felt, which we then used to create bags, notebook covers, and keychains with our own branding.
Warande
i-did recycled the old workwear from the Warande healthcare institution into their own felt. Our social workshop then turned it into no fewer than 1,500 bags for their staff, which were enthusiastically received.
KLM 100 years
Hooray! KLM celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019, and that deserved a celebration. And with a celebration comes presents. So we turned their old work clothes into felt and created beautiful products!
React
For React, we created you-felt in red and a mixed color, made from football t-shirts that would otherwise have been wasted. The material was used by React to develop and showcase their sustainable solutions.
Ronald van der Kemp
In collaboration with fashion designer Ronald van der Kemp, i-did created a collection of statement bags inspired by the story of Noah's Ark . The limited edition bags sold out within hours.
Seepje
Commissioned by Seepje, i-did created the World Laundry Basket from sustainable felt in KLM Sky Blue . The laundry basket is printed with the Seepje logo by the Katoenfabriek and was available for purchase and on display in stores.
MYOMY
The collaboration with MYOMY has a real designer look and feel. A beautiful bag made from our recycled felt was included in their collection at the time.
IKEA
Together with IKEA, we've already made a big impact. For example, we've even created two beautiful, fresh felt colors from discarded IKEA textiles. This is the TILLVERKA collection.
Efteling
The very first enchanting collaboration with Efteling! This also resulted in three beautiful felt colors that have been part of our collection for years.
Superdik
Branding on our recycled textile bags? Yes! We've partnered with Superdik to create a fantastic collection of bags printed with the text: "Hocus Pocus Pilatus Pas" bag.
H&M Berlin
Our first collaboration with our recycled felt. Handbags designed for a unique experience at H&M Berlin. Available in KLM Sky Blue , also our first felt color.
