At i-did, we give discarded textiles a second life. With you-felt, we transform your company's old workwear or other residual textiles into sustainable, high-quality felt. The felt is available on a roll, ready for various applications, or we create unique products tailored to your organization.

Products you can reuse as promotional gifts, your own collection, or office furnishings. This way, your old textiles, in the form of products, return to the organization, completing the sustainable, social, and circular supply chain.

How does it work?

1. Intake and test phase

We start with a test per color to determine whether your textile is suitable for fiberizing and felting. You will receive:

Bags with fiberized textile samples
A4 felt sample
A concise report with the test results

The felt is not dyed. The color of the textile determines the color.

2. Composition & design of the felt

Together we'll determine how your felt will look. Based on the test results, we'll agree on:

What type of textile is used
The required volumes
The desired appearance in terms of color, structure and application

This way we ensure that the end result perfectly matches your wishes.

3. Initiation of the procedure

When the test is positive, we start the production process:

We start by aligning your product requirements
We agree on the required quantity of textile
We supply the big bags in advance to collect and deliver the textiles

We plan the delivery date on which the textile should be in The Hague.

4. Production of felt & finished products

Once we have received your textiles:

Collaboration in the spotlight: KLM

In 2015, KLM was the first to repurpose its old workwear at i-did! We took the textile and transformed it into felt: KLM Sky Blue was born.

For the company's 100th anniversary, KLM commissioned i-did to produce various lifestyle products. Their own felt was recently used in the renovated interior of building 411 at Schiphol, thanks to a collaboration with ATELIERS Interior & Architecture.
