i-did and Triboo present EverUse: Innovation in sound and sustainability

EverUse: acoustic panel from i-did and Triboo

A while ago, i-did and Triboo jointly launched a unique product: the EverUse acoustic panel. A desk screen that creates a sense of calm in the office and impresses with its stylish, high-quality appearance.

In this blog post, we'll tell you more about the collaboration, the story behind EverUse, and why this panel is so much more than just a desktop screen.

From shared mission to joint innovation

i-did and Triboo found common ground in their shared mission: reducing waste, developing circular products, and making a social impact. While Triboo focuses on reusing residual materials for office furnishings, i-did gives old textiles a new life and offers people opportunities in the professional field.

Together they came up with the idea of developing an acoustic desk screen made from recycled materials inside and out.

What makes the EverUse panel special?

In dynamic office environments, conversations and background noise can quickly become distracting. The sound-absorbing properties of the EverUse panel contribute to a quieter work environment and improved concentration.

EverUse distinguishes itself through its complete structure:

  • Construction : core of GreenGridz, a biobased material.
  • Acoustic filling: non-rewearable denim or recycled newspaper.
  • Upholstery: felt made from recycled textiles, produced by i-did.

The panel is locally produced in The Hague.

Social impact at i-did

The EverUse panels are created by employees who gain work experience at i-did. They receive guidance and support toward paid employment in the regular field.

EverUse in practice

An example of the EverUse application is the office design at Movares. They chose the desk screens because of the acoustic benefits and the reuse of materials.
