From felt to visualization: download our felt textures now

Working on an interior concept or 3D visualization? Then you'll want to incorporate materials into your design as realistically as possible. That's why our felt colors are available as professional, tileable felt textures for SketchUp, 3D renderings, mood boards, presentations, and more.

The digital textures are based on our physical felt samples and are available to download for free in various file formats. This allows you to give a good impression of the color and texture of our felt during the design process.

From felt to 3D visualization

Material choices largely determine how a design is perceived. In a rendering, a texture provides not only color, but also depth, atmosphere, and a sense of materiality. Our digital felt textures allow you to translate the physical character of felt into a visually compelling representation. 

The digital textures are based on our i-felt collection of recycled textiles and our biobased felt types. We produce the felt in our own factory in The Hague, where people who have been out of work for a long time or have never worked before are employed.

Felt textures for architects and interior designers

The textures were developed for architects, interior designers, and stylists. All colors are:

• Tileable seamlessly

• Suitable for 3D and rendering

• Can be applied directly in SketchUp and other programs

Because the textures are tileable seamlessly, you can also use them for larger surfaces in a visualization, such as wall coverings or acoustic applications.

Which felt textures can you download?

Depending on the program and type of visualization, you can choose from three different downloads. You can add the files to your own material library and then use them in your design or rendering.

1. Felt textures JPG/PNG
Tileable images for mood boards, presentations, and concept visualizations.

2. Felt textures for 3D & rendering (PBR)
PBR files for realistic visualizations in 3D and rendering software that supports PBR materials.

3. Felt textures for SketchUp
Materials that can be applied directly in SketchUp. The materials are also available via the 3D Warehouse.

Digital texture and physical sample

A digital felt texture helps you incorporate our material into a design as realistically as possible, but a screen is still a screen. Lighting, screen settings, and the environment can affect how a color is displayed.

Want to make a final color selection for a project? Also request a physical sample set. This allows you to see, feel, and assess the color and texture of the felt in person, in the light of the space or application for which you want to use it.
