On Sunday, April 19, our felt wall covering was featured in the final episode of this season of vtwonen: weer verliefd op je huis. In this makeover, stylist Fietje brings together Lyan and Michel's different tastes into a warm and calm whole.
From different tastes to one harmonious whole
While Lyan loves light, soft tones, Michel prefers warm, dark colors and plenty of greenery. Fietje managed to connect these styles with felt wall covering from the Eijffinger FELT collection (article 350822 - Sandstone Beige). The felt on the wall in the dining and living area provides warmth, softness, and unity to the space.
Wall covering made from recycled textiles
The wall covering is made from recycled post-consumer textiles (in other words: old clothes from collection bins). At the social enterprise i-did, we give old clothes a second life by processing them into high-quality felt in The Hague. We use this felt to create wall coverings, as well as acoustic interior and lifestyle products.
