We're proud to announce that i-did has been recertified on the Social Entrepreneurship Performance Ladder (PSO) this year . We even scored well above the highest level! This confirms that we offer structural employment to employees from vulnerable groups. And we'll continue to do so!
With this certificate, we demonstrate that social entrepreneurship is in our DNA. Not just now, but consistently. And the best part is: when you purchase from us, you contribute to that.
What does PSO30+ entail?
Organizations with a PSO30+ certificate demonstrate that at least 30% of their employees come from vulnerable groups . At i-did, that percentage is even 59.9%, well above the standard for step 3, the highest rung on the Social Entrepreneurship Performance Ladder. Only a small number of organizations in the Netherlands achieve such a high score, and that makes us especially proud.
Social purchasing at i-did = making an impact
Does your organization have SROI obligations? Then purchasing from i-did is a smart and socially responsible move.
SROI stands for Social Return On Investment and means that organizations give something back to society when carrying out contracts for (semi-)public bodies. Such tenders often require that a percentage of the contract amount be spent on social impact—for example, by employing people from vulnerable groups or purchasing from a social enterprise.
i-did fits right in: we're PSO30+ certified and easily meet the requirements for social entrepreneurship. By purchasing from us, you automatically meet the SROI requirement and contribute to sustainable employment.
Collaborating with i-did? Smart idea!
Are you a (semi-)public organization looking to tender socially? Then Article 2.82 of the Public Procurement Act is worth considering. This article allows you to reserve a contract for social enterprises with PSO30+ certification, such as i-did.
This means you can consciously choose to open certain tenders exclusively to companies that demonstrably help people from vulnerable groups find work. A powerful way to truly integrate social entrepreneurship into your procurement and tendering policy.

i-did turns textiles into social impact
Every year, over 200,000 tons of textiles are discarded in the Netherlands, including large quantities of workwear. At the same time, more than 400,000 people are on welfare, including refugees and those for whom access to employment is not a given. They have few opportunities to discover and utilize their talents.
At i-did, we connect these two challenges: old textiles are given a second life and processed into products that truly matter. Products made by people who, at i-did, have the opportunity to gain experience and contribute meaningfully to society.
More and more companies are choosing i-did products, increasing our social impact and reach every year. On this page , we share insights, figures, and examples of how clothing reuse and social impact converge.
